Step 1 - PH TESTING

The PH Levels in the soil and water are tested to ensure the correct feeding program is implemented.

Step 2 - FERTILIZER

Slow release micro-encapsulated granular fertilizers are used to ensure properly timed and regular feeding of the lawn. This ensures continuous feeding of the lawn over a longer period as well as minimizing the risk of fertilizer burn.

Organic fertilizers are also available if so desired.

Step 3 - WEED CONTROL

Selective, ongoing and specifically tailored application of herbicide to control all broadleaf weeds commonly found in lawns.

Step 4 - LAWN INSECT CONTROL

The team from Pest Control Specialists came out and did a pH test on our soil. They also tested the water. They told us this was to help them choose the right feeding program for our lawn. Once they had the results, they chose the fertilizer that was just right for our conditions.

The fertilizer they use is a slow-release granular mix that is micro-encapsulated. This ensures our lawn is fed just the right amount on a continuous basis. There is no fertilizer burn from using this time release fertilizer! They also have organic fertilizers we can choose if we wish to keep our lawn green using only natural means.

Pest Control Specialists uses very careful, selective weed control to keep our lawn looking its best. They tailor their herbicide application so it only goes where it is needed. Broadleaf weeds are kept to a minimum, which makes our lawn look absolutely beautiful.

They are able to control many of the pesky insects that were once found in our lawn. Lawn caterpillars, crickets, ants and harvester termites are just a few of the common insects that can harm our lawn, and the Pest Control Specialists are able to eradicate them easily. We are no longer plagued with these bugs when we are out enjoying our yard.

We had brown patches in our lawn before we decided to use the Pest Control Specialists, but no more! They are able to diagnose and treat fungal infections in our lawn that cause these brown patches and small dollar spots. Now those unsightly dead patches are a distant memory and our lawn is healthy and green. Looking out the window at my lush green lawn makes me smile and want to go out and enjoy my yard.

Finally, the team takes the time to properly aerate our lawn. I was not aware how important this is to the health of our lawn. By aerating it every year, the soil structure is improved and the lawn benefits. Thatch build up is reduced and our lawn is now growing denser than ever, thanks to the efforts of the Pest Control Specialists.
